Matariki Westfield

The aim was to provide an eye catching and educational display, incorporating custom artwork created by Manawa Tapu exclusively for Westfield.

Take a peek inside the large telescope and spin the disc to learn about the symbolism of each of the nine stars of the Matariki cluster. Loads of interesting facts on the telescope itself and nearby floor decals.

Then wander around the native New Zealand forest ‘island’ to learn more about Matariki while enjoying the fresh smell created from the lush collection of native plants from our nursery. Thanks to Trees for Canterbury for our latest additions!
